This Room

All windows are open today and a breeze from 3am impressions, says it’s gonna rain.
In a room, by a table set for just me on a white crooked chair, I sit alone with no telephone.
Now I know where to go. Finally a place for me.
This light rain gets my beat going.
The smell of outside, birds singing themes of my dreams in this room!
Surrounded by facts of life assumed in this room.
I’m embracing it until tomorrow afternoon, in this room.
Now morning is breaking its way and some people pass by with their heads down this way.
They look like they have nothing on their mind, just another blank page to pass their time.
I’m so glad that I can stay, that I don’t have to walk their way.
