We’d form a band and brag about its breakthrough.

You’d ask me to dumb it down and I’d laugh at you .

 

And it never really mattered how fucked up things could be.

You’d find a way somehow to cheat reality.

You made me believe in things I didn’t know exist,

things that were there all along on your “to do list”
