So here I am again
After two years in the countryside, waking up every morning with a couple of hundred cows chilling outside my window, I am back in Malmö. I just spend a week moving my studio to a very different location. I don't have a drivers licence so that was obviously one of the reasons that I moved back to the city. But also because of the fact that I used that room for so many creative hours that the positive energy I found there was no longer present, I'm not sure why.
It's been like that after every finished album so far, I needed to get a new place… Tiring but necessary … One day I hope to find the place where I'll stay put.. Anyway, this new place has given me new energy and creativity so in the next 6 months or so I'll definately spend alot of time there writing and recording new material.
I'm also going on tour in oct/nov (dates will be added on my pages)
This time I'm taking it back to a three piece band with Måns Mernsten on Rhodes and moog, Magnus Björklund de Oliveira on guitar and percussion and myself.. We will be playing Sweden and Norway but hopefully we'll be able to come outside of Scandinavia soon as well.
I'm gonna open up for Kristoffer Ragnstam (great swedish artist, songwriter and producer) In Marburg and Berlin, Germany the 27th and 28th of sept. That's a great opportunity for me and I thank you deeply o great Kristoffer!
…and just to keep on informing you about gigs in chronological disorder I have to remind you Swedes of "En afton med Prince" . It's gonna be a great evening with me, Svante Loden, Timbuktu, Pauline and Titiyo singing the best of Prince on the 24th of sept in Malmö and 25th in stockholm..

The perfect summer week
After a fantastic weekend with two amazing gigs I'm set for a couple of days off in Norway.
We played Sundsvall city fest on thursday and if it wasn't for the grim fact that they opened the gates just 10 mins before we HAD TO be on stage, it was all good.
Actually it felt like I hadn't played live for months because all the songs got new life and we played them like we had never played them before.
Inspite the fact that it was a little early and the entrance fee a little high, the ones that were there showed us enough good spirit and love to make the lack of audience nothing we thought about what so ever.
Then we had a day off that we spent hungover on different trains without AC, heading for the Arvika festival. We Arrived there Saturday morning and the weather was perfect, the festival it self truly wonderful as always and best of all, my girlfriend was visiting together with a friend from Oslo!
We had an early show (wich I like on festivals because then you can spend rest of the day wondering around drinking beer out of plastic cups, listening to music like everybody else.) It's also a little scary because you never know how many people that are gonna show up. 4000 people did and made the hour on stage feel like 5 minutes. We did our best show this year and everyone was absolutely amazing. (I even played a song that I wrote 12 years ago. It's called Walls of stone and was never released . This guy in the front row was chanting for it (he's been doing that a couple of times now so I guess he heard an old demo tape or someting.) I decided to play some of it, I couldn't remember it in full at the time, and it was the perfect add on to the show. Thanks to you for showing up at so many gigs making me play it because now I decided to record it again…
Now I'm in Oslo doing absolutely nothing until tomorrow. Then I'm gonna see Bruce Springsteen with my girl and her dad and have the best possible family night ever…
I Really hope the Boss (Ha ha, what kind of nickname is that, really) won't forget what he did in the 70's and will give us some greetings from Asbury Park. Either way he's probably gonna make me a teenager again (Arena gigs tend to do that to me)
Also, after a couple of months finally diggin into the Sopranos ( I just watched all seasons back to back) It's gonna be hard not to assoiate Little steven with hard ass Silvio Dante (sorry, I know It's stupid) but It's gonna be weird the first couple of songs…
Then on thursday I'm gonna meet up with my band in Grimstad for the Skraal festival and then finish off the perfect summer week with my family!

Ja fryser om mina fötter idag
Hej alla fina!
Ja sitter i min lägenhet i Malmö och fryser. Väderberoende som jag är så sneglar ja dagligen mot sängen och undrar vad som hade hänt om ja gått å lagt mig igen… Fan, ja lovade ju mig själv att börja röra på mig. Det finns ju ett skit billigt gym precis här nere. Fast det hade ju varit så mycket lättare och roligare att sparka lite boll i parken eller på stranden… Fast ja kollar ju på fotboll dagligen just nu, det är ju nästan träning. Ja skriver en låt istället!
Fast det kommer nog att bli ett riff, ett fantastiskt riff!
Ja tror nog ja har 100 fantastiska riff inspelade på ljudinspelaren på min mobil som antagligen kommer att sluta fungera sekunden ja bestämmer mig för att göra ngt med dem. Kanske skulle man ringa nån grym kontra basist, en jazztrummis och en gammal klassisk barpianist, samla oss på en veranda ngnstans och göra de ol' school.
Hur som helst så är ja sjukt sugen på att skapa! Kanske på ett nytt sätt, ja vet inte men låtar behöver komma ur mig för tillfället känner jag. Kan man släppa två skivor om året liksom? De kan man nog… eller? Måste nog fråga skivbolaget senare vad dom tycker..
Nä, ja tror ja drar upp till Simpan och spelar schack med Patrik. Så jävla gött att man har polare som också lever i enkelhetens lyx. Att inte behöva jobba om man inte vill alla dagar. Att istället kunna spela schack och dricka kaffe för sina sista pengar och prata om nästa projekt som kommer att bli världsomspännande och alldeles fantastiskt. "sjukt mycket bättre än förra plattan… inget snack"
Vad ja egentligen vill säga är att jag är en oerhört lycklig man som har ER alla att tacka livslänge för att ja kan få ha det så här bra! TACK FÖR ALL KÄRLEK SOM NI GER. Ja lovar att ja ger tillbaks så länge ja lever!!
